Street stall
Casino Historical Society will hold a street stall in Walker Street, in front of the ANZ Bank this Friday 10th October.
Selling will commenct at 8.30am, with a good variety of home cooking, produce and other goods on offer. All donations of saleable goods would be appreciated.
History meeting
Casino and District Historical Society members are reminded that the bus trip planned for Saturday, October 11, has been postponed as the Casino Show will be held that day.
A new date for the trip will be discussed at the society's next meeting which will be held on Sunday, October 12, at 2pm.
Please note this is a week later than usual due to the long weekend. All welcome to attend.
Aglow Casino
Roz Petty will be the guest speaker at the Tuesday October 21 meeting of Aglow Casino.
All women are invited to the meeting to hear her speak. It will be held at the Ministry Centre, 47 Simpson Parade, Casino, from 10am.
Aglow is a non-denominational network of caring Christian women. Entry to the meeting is $6 which includes morning tea. For further information phone Margaret on 6663 1485.
Family photo day
Casino Playgroup is holding a family photo day on Saturday, October 25.
All are welcome to attend and for only $10 you can receive an 11x14inch framed photo.

Seniors bus trip
Jacqui will host a senior's bus trip to Bellingen and Dorrigo on Saturday, October 18.
Cost is $30 with morning tea and lunch at own expense.

VIP group
Casino Vision Impaired Person's group will meet on Monday, October 13, in the meeting room at the Casino Library at 10am.
Guest speaker will be the Vision Australia Access chairman. There will also be domonstrations in information technologies.

Hawaiian night
Ellangowan Hall Committee is inviting everyone to its annual dinner at the Ellangowan Hall, on October 11, starting at 6.30pm for pre-dinner drinks.
Join in the fun and come dressed in theme - this year it's Hawaiian - to try and win first prize for ladies and gents.
There will be a lucky door prize and a raffle as well as entertainment by Ellangowan Amateur Theatrical Society.
Red Cross
Wiangaree Red Cross will hold a euchre night at the Wiangaree Hall on Saturday October 18, from 8pm.
A light supper will be provided and all card players are welcome.
Trivia night
Bentley Community Preschool will be holding a Trivia Night on Saturday, October 11 at the Bentley Community Hall (Lismore/Kyogle Road, Bentley) starting at 7pm.
Cost is $7 per person (up to eight per table) with all proceeds going to the preschool.
Theres will be lucky door prizes, raffles, fun and games and lots of trivia.
Prizes include two nights at the Big 4 Yamba, shop vouchers, a make up kit, gardening equipment and bags.

Craft and Quilt Fair
A bus will travel from Casino to the Brisbane Craft and Quilt Fair on Sunday, October 26.
The bus will leave the Casino Salvation Army Hall at 7am.
